By engaging our services, scheduling an appointment, communicating with us, submitting documents, or using our portals or booking systems, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
Palatial provides professional services including, but not limited to:

Services provided do not constitute legal advice unless expressly stated in writing.
2. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information

Timely submit all requested documentation

Review all prepared documents for accuracy prior to approval or filing

Notify Palatial promptly of any changes to personal, financial, or business information
Palatial is not responsible for errors resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or late information provided by the Client.
3. Communications Consent
By engaging Palatial, you expressly consent to receive communications via:

Email

Telephone calls
-
Voicemail
-
SMS/text messages
-
Automated notifications
-
Booking confirmations and reminders
Communications may relate to appointments, document requests, service updates, billing, compliance matters, or general business operations.
You acknowledge:

Email and text communications may not be fully secure

You are responsible for safeguarding access to your devices and email accounts
-
You may opt out of non-essential communications by written request, subject to service limitations
4. Booking Site & Appointment Policies
Use of our booking platform constitutes agreement to:

Appointment availability is not guaranteed until confirmed

Missed appointments, late arrivals, or cancellations may be subject to fees
-
Palatial reserves the right to reschedule or reassign appointments
-
Consultations may be conducted by qualified team members, not always the business owner
No service is rendered until all required intake forms and documentation are received.
5. Fees, Payments & Refunds

Fees are based on service complexity, not refunds or outcomes

All fees must be paid according to agreed terms

Refunds are not guaranteed once work has commenced
-
Government fees, penalties, interest, and third-party costs are the Client’s responsibility
Failure to remit payment may result in service suspension.
6. Electronic Portals & Document Uploads
Clients may submit documents through:

Secure client portals

Guest upload links
-
Encrypted systems
-
Approved third-party platforms
By using these systems, you acknowledge:

You are responsible for uploading correct documents
-
You must not share upload links with unauthorized parties
-
Palatial is not responsible for documents uploaded to incorrect accounts or portals
7. Data Security & Confidentiality
Palatial employs commercially reasonable safeguards to protect client information, including:

Secure electronic storage systems

Encrypted portals and password-protected platforms
-
Limited employee access based on role
-
Secure internal networks and monitored systems
No system is 100% immune from unauthorized access. You acknowledge and accept inherent risks associated with electronic data transmission.
8. Physical Document Security (In-Office)
For documents submitted in person:

Paper files are stored in locked filing cabinets

Offices are secured outside business hours
-
Access is restricted to authorized personnel only

Visitors are not permitted access to file storage areas
Clients are encouraged to retrieve original documents promptly. Palatial is not responsible for documents left beyond a reasonable retention period.
9. Record Retention & Destruction
Palatial retains records in accordance with:

Internal compliance policies
Documents may be securely destroyed after the retention period without notice.
10. No Guarantee of Results
Palatial makes no guarantees regarding:

Tax refunds or liabilities
-
Processing times
-
Government acceptance or approval
-
Audit outcomes
All filings are subject to governmental review and discretion.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Palatial’s liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service

Palatial is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Palatial is not responsible for third-party platform failures or government actions
12. Third-Party Services
Palatial may utilize third-party platforms (e.g., portals, payment processors, insurers). We are not responsible for their policies, outages, or data practices.
13. Termination of Services
Palatial reserves the right to:

Decline services

Terminate engagements
-
Withdraw representation
At any time due to non-compliance, non-payment, unethical conduct, or legal concerns.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
15. Amendments
Palatial may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
16. Acknowledgment
By scheduling services, submitting documents, communicating with Palatial, or using any portal or booking system, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
